Started after affects assignment, having trouble deleting/separating compositions from each other for separate marking, will review next lesson

Successfully separated compositions and saved as separate files, continued with tasks, completed tasks 1&2

Watched Creating and Moving Text and the Using the AnimateTool tutorials and started task

Finished task Q4A, started and finished personal composition using Text, 2 video files and 4 images and keyframes to change its opacity, position and scale. Saved as Personal text composition

Started final task using audio (Q5)

Started personal composition on robots using footage recorded in class, I recorded a lot of videos so it will take a while to sift through them, need inspiration or ideas from actual task page.

Lacking information on next task, not sure what to do

Need to write a script and do a preview of the robotics, promoting what we have don’t in class

Watched tutorial featuring radial wipe, started into using grey and orange theme, wording will feature the “we are…” Campaign

Finished SW introduction using circles, included smith and western robotics text underneath. I will need to figure our an appropriate wipe across the screen to show information and the “we are…” campaign

Difficulty finding a way to wipe across and reveal text

Discovered how to do the wipe across. Now the SW plays, the words and videos play and it wipes to a full screen video of the robot. Finishes with the SW playing and the video playing for a little while.

Today, while working on the website I thought it would be a good idea to upload videos of the bebionic in action, so I will be downloading some clips I founds on YouTube at home and uploading them to the website under the bebionic sub-page. I will be doing this same thing with the BigDog robot

I cannot think of a productive image to include in the Isaac Asimov page, apart from his face. Will review later.

I plan to re-do task 5 with a video featuring the song from Lioc Nottet, performed at Eurovision 2015

Today I found footage of robots competing in the, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), DARPA robotics challenge. The challenge attempts to pit robots against each other in a number of challenges, unfortunately, these robots ended up failing in spectacular fashion, even being compared to drunken men falling over. Despite these fails the robots seem extremely advanced, and feature humanoid designs as well as tonnes of sensors and controllers. A lot more advanced than I could ever do.

Re-did Video for Q5, using a DARPA theme, the effects used were, colour correctors such as, Auto Colour, Equalize and Exposure as well as several lenses flares. The audio was originally from the video, the image was the logo of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. This video will be placed in the After Effects page of my Website

Added music and finished it, it was a long process and I had trouble getting thing how I wanted, it’s still not where I want but it is a close as it is going to get.

Having trouble rendering videos, probably wont be able to upload them or have them in good quality but they are done and are stopred on my drive
